The collection includes recordings and printed material generated by annual Yale student poetry readings; a videocassette and printed material related to the Bollingen Prize Readings at Center Church in September 2002; and recordings and publicity materials for readings by established and published contemporary American poets from 2002 to 2006. Yale Collection of American Literature Reading Series
Yale Collection of American Literature Reading Series events have been recorded since the fall of 2002. The Collection generally hosts three readings an academic term; each spring the series includes the annual Yale Student Poets reading, including both graduate and undergraduate student poets. Description of the Papers
The Yale Collection of American Literature Reading Series consists of recordings of poetry readings sponsored by the Yale Collection of American Literature as well as fliers, announcements, pamphlets and broadsides produced to publicize and accompany the series. The collection includes recordings of annual Yale student poetry readings, as well as readings by established and published contemporary American poets. Recordings and printed material related to the Bollingen Prize Readings in September 2002 are also present. The finding aid will be updated as new readings are recorded as part of the Yale Collection of American Literature's ongoing speaker series.
